Ava (Janelle James) is using it as an excuse to avoid buying a real gift. Melissa (Lisa Ann Walter) goes overboard with a hyper-practical, borderline intimidating present. But the real magic? Janine and Gregory sitting away from the group, sharing a hookah hose (yes, symbolism ), and talking about what they actually want for the holidays. It’s intimate, awkward, and full of chemistry. Without giving everything away, the gift exchange goes completely off the rails.
