He killed every single Cell Junior with a single punch each. He then turned to Perfect Cell, who for the first time, felt true fear. Gohan’s power was overwhelming. He broke Cell’s jaw with a single kick. He tore off one of his arms. Cell was helpless.

The two titanic beams met in the sky. The earth below boiled. For a moment, they were equal. But then, Gohan remembered. He remembered his father’s smile. He remembered Krillin’s kindness. He remembered Piccolo’s stern love. His beam grew. And grew.

Perfect Cell didn't want to just destroy Earth. He wanted to savor it. He wanted to break their spirits. He announced the "Cell Games" on global television—a martial arts tournament where one Earthling would fight him. If they lost, he would annihilate the planet.

He looked at the stands, at the young boy in the green gi. "Gohan," he whispered. "You're the only one left. You have power sleeping inside you—power beyond any Super Saiyan. You must get angry."

The desperate hunt began. Cell hunted the Androids; the Z-Fighters hunted Cell; and a newly healed, arrogant Vegeta hunted a rematch with 18.
