F1 99-02 (full title: FIA Formula One World Championship: Season 1999/2000/2001/2002 ) was a series of four official Formula 1 games developed by EA Sports and Visual Science (later ISI, Image Space Incorporated) for PC, PlayStation, PS2, Xbox, and GameCube. The PC version became the modding favorite due to its open file structure and the fact that the core physics engine (ISI’s gmotor) was later used for rFactor, making it highly adaptable.
