We’ve all been there. You’re deep into a competitive match, the tension is high, and a teammate starts backseating you every time you miss a shot. In the heat of the moment, you open the scoreboard and hit that Block button.

Riot will usually ask, "Are you sure? This player will be able to send you friend requests and whispers again." Click Yes . We’ve all been there
Look at the bottom right corner of your screen (or the top right, depending on your UI scale). Click the two-person icon (Friends list). Hover your mouse over the blocked player’s name
Scroll through the list of everyone you have ever blocked. Valorant does not have a search bar for the blocked list (annoying, we know), so you may have to look closely.
Fast forward a week. You queue into a game, hear a familiar voice on comms, and realize it’s that same player—but this time, they’re actually being helpful, funny, and carrying the team. Now you can’t hear them, and you can’t type to them.
