If you’re tired of playing phone tag with the unknown, here’s exactly how to unblock private calls on both iPhone and Android. A "private" or "blocked" call means the caller has dialed *67 before your number (in the US) or used a carrier setting to hide their caller ID. Your phone isn’t blocking them—their phone is hiding from you.
Dial *77 (call) to block private calls. To unblock: Dial *87 . (Note: AT&T may call this “Selective Call Acceptance.”)
Dial *77 and press call. (You’ll hear “Anonymous Call Rejection is on.”) To turn off: Dial *87 .
