Indian Lias -

I used to fight it. I tried to be a sleek, minimalist, Western-style productive human. But the Lias always wins. It is sedimentary rock—old, layered, stubborn. It is Jurassic procrastination mixed with ancient hospitality.

It started as a typo. I was trying to write “Indian lies” (as in, the little white lies we tell ourselves about productivity), but autocorrect gave me “Lias.” I liked it better. I used to fight it
