Nao is honestly so hard to root for sometimes?? She’s clingy, desperate, and keeps going back to guys who treat her like trash. But that’s also why I couldn’t stop reading. It’s painfully real. You just wanna shake her and be like “girl, THERAPY, not a boyfriend.”

Highly recommend if you like messy character studies over fairytales. 💀

Nao is a high school girl who jumps from boyfriend to boyfriend, not because she’s in love, but because she’s addicted to the feeling of being loved. When she gets dumped, she immediately craves a new relationship to fill the void — leading to a cycle of desperation, lies, and heartbreak.

8/10 — frustrating at times, but that’s the point. Option 3: Conversational / Personal (Best for Tumblr or Discord) Post: Okay so I finally read Love Junkie and I have THOUGHTS.

If you’re tired of perfect heroines and flawless love stories, Love Junkie (original title: Love Junkie ) by Mayu Sakai is a must-read.
