Mycom Compressor Lift Pin And Spring -

1. Function & Application The lift pin and spring assembly is a critical internal component within the hydraulic cylinder of a Mycom screw compressor (e.g., models 160, 200, 250, 300 series). Its primary purpose is to actuate the slide valve—the mechanism that controls the compressor’s capacity (load/unload) and the volume ratio (Vi). The spring ensures positive mechanical engagement of the lift pin with the slide valve stem, while the pin transfers hydraulic pressure into linear movement.
