In an era where digital screens dominate, PPAF offers a rare, tangible collective experience. It is the sound of 2,000 people laughing at a comedian. It is the sight of a toddler dancing in the spray from a splash fountain. It is the feeling of a cool evening after a hot day, listening to a jazz quartet while the Piscataqua ripples by.

Whether you are a local marking the summer solstice by the first show, or a visitor who stumbled upon the magic by accident, the Prescott Park Arts Festival remains what it has always been: the sound of summer in Portsmouth. prescott park arts festival portsmouth nh

  1. Just made these with gluten free flour and they turned out so well! I had to use quite a bit more gf flour (maybe an additional 1/2 cup – I used Bob’s Red Mill GF All Purpose because it was what I had, though I wouldn’t recommend it) to get the texture of the dough right before I rolled it out. The flavor was still spot-on, and the texture was great. Will definitely make these again with regular flour next time! Thanks for the great recipe.
