We recently repaired this weathered sandstone window sill: ❌ Deep cracks, spalling (flaking surface), and water ingress. ✅ The fix: 1️⃣ Raked out old, failed mortar. 2️⃣ Applied a breathable stone repair mortar. 3️⃣ Reshaped the profile to match the original. 4️⃣ Finished with a water-repellent (but breathable) sealer.
