Superman & Lois S01e11 Webrip Review

As Clark lies dying in the fortress, his consciousness retreats inward. The entire episode functions as a beautiful, tragic memory palace. We flash back to a young Clark Kent (played perfectly by newcomer Dylan Walsh in flashback makeup) discovering his powers, saying goodbye to Lana Lang, and leaving for the North Pole to find the Fortress of Solitude for the first time.

The WEBrip transfer handles the contrast between the muted, grainy past and the stark, blue-lit present of the Fortress exceptionally well, making the emotional gut-punch of Clark’s loneliness land harder. While the A-plot is a memory lane trip, the B-plot in Smallville is where the episode earns its emotional weight. Lois, Jonathan, and Jordan race against the clock.
