Sam is thrown across the room. Clark, arriving as Superman, enters the containment zone. For a moment, Bizarro looks at him not with rage but with desperate recognition. He whispers one clear word:

Clark is shaken. “He looks like me,” he whispers. Sam orders a DOD black site transport. Lois argues against it, fearing the military will only escalate things, but Sam insists: “We don’t know what he wants. But he came through a portal and almost killed your husband.” superman & lois s02e02 dsrip

The episode ends on a wide shot of the four of them—Superman, Lois, Bizarro, and Lara—standing in the glowing mine, as the portal behind them crackles with unstable energy. Late night. Lana paces while Kyle watches TV numbly. Sarah comes home late, and Lana confronts her. Sarah breaks down: “I almost died, Mom. And Jordan lied to my face about how I survived.” Lana holds her. Kyle quietly leaves the room—he’s been drinking again, hidden in the garage. Sam is thrown across the room

The camera lingers on a family photo: the four of them smiling. Now, everyone is drifting apart. A dark room. John Henry Irons (Steel) watches news footage of Superman fighting Bizarro. He rewinds, freeze-frames on Bizarro’s chest symbol. Then he pulls up data from his own universe’s files. A file labeled “B-ZERO” opens. On screen: a sketch of Bizarro and the words: “He is not the threat. He is the warning.” He whispers one clear word: Clark is shaken

It’s brutal. Clark has no answer. He puts a hand on Jonathan’s shoulder, but Jonathan shrugs it off and walks away. At the DOD, Bizarro suddenly awakens. His eyes glow bright red (opposite of Superman’s heat vision—it’s “cold vision” that freezes steel). He shatters the red-sun lamps and breaks free. Soldiers fire Kryptonite rounds, but they only slow him. He speaks in full reverse sentences: “ Not enemy. Ally find to need I. ”

At breakfast, tensions rise. Jonathan reveals he tried out for the football team without telling Clark or Lois. Clark, distracted, mutters, “We’ll talk about it later.” Jonathan snaps, “You always say that.” Lois mediates, but it’s clear Clark is emotionally absent. Bizarro is chained in a red-sunlight room, weak but conscious. He mutters incoherent phrases in reverse: “...home... find... El...” Sam Lane orders a psychic probe using a device created by Dr. Faulkner (introduced last episode). The probe triggers a violent psychic backlash—Bizarro screams, and the entire facility shakes. Steel reinforcements bend like taffy.

She hears a faint hum. Following it, she discovers a second, smaller portal device—still active. On its control panel is a symbol: the House of El, but mirrored. Lois takes a photo and sends it to Clark with a text: “We need to talk.” Clark finds Jonathan alone, angrily punching a heavy bag. Jonathan unloads: “You’re never here. Mom’s doing everything. Jordan gets powers, I get nothing but moves and lies.” Clark tries to explain the danger of Bizarro, but Jonathan cuts him off: “There’s always a danger. Maybe I don’t want to be saved anymore.”
