Unlike typical Tamil films, Taramani openly discusses money, caste, and regional snobbery (Chennai vs. Tirunelveli). The scene where Prabha’s father judges Iyarkkun’s house is painfully accurate. What Doesn’t Work (The Lows) 1. Pacing & Length The first 30 minutes are electric. The middle act, especially the courtroom and police station sequences, drags significantly. The film feels its 2.5-hour runtime.
