Note: This review is based on the standard DVD Rip version of the episode. Picture quality is solid for standard definition, but the gritty texture actually adds to the dark, moody tone of this particular chapter. Picking up immediately after the events of the previous episode, Barry Allen is a man crushed by time. With the knowledge that he is fated to vanish during the impending Crisis, Barry tries to push everyone away. But the villain of the week isn't a speedster—it's grief. Director Menhaj Huda does a fantastic job balancing the procedural "monster-of-the-week" format with the heavy serialized arc of Barry’s impending death. The highlight of S06E05 is the return of Danny Trejo as Breacher. However, this isn't the fun, gruff Breacher we met on Earth-19. After the death of his daughter, Gypsy (at the hands of the Season 5 villain, Cicada), Breacher is a shell of himself. He arrives on Earth-1 to hunt and kill Cisco’s new girlfriend, Kamilla, believing she is a doppelganger of his daughter's murderer.
