We all love VMware Workstation Player (formerly Player Pro). It’s free for personal use, rock-solid, and runs just about any operating system as a guest.

A “portable VMware Player” exists as a semi-portable solution . It’s perfect for IT pros moving between trusted machines where you have admin rights occasionally.
